Classic Horror Fiction and Film

UA Gadsden Center

Instructor: Dave Murdock - Room 110; A string of classic horror movies was made in the 1930s (and one in the 1950s) by Universal Pictures. About half of them were based on famous books. Come join us, as we near Halloween, for a quick survey of classic horror novels and the films that were made from them. We will also look at the movies that Universal made that were not based on previous novels, and we'll even cover the one classic horror novel that was filmed by seemingly every studio but Universal.
